(Senior) Data Engineer
Responsibilities

Help (inter)national financial institutions to integrate their systems into the Goldie-Platform (cloud-based)
-
Develop, test and document data- & analytics-infrastructure (e.g. data pipelines, integrations, warehouses, lakes and cubes)

Develop scalable ETL-& ELT-Procedures
-
Maintain a steady flow of information throughout the entire Goldie-Platform
-
Translate business needs into technical specifications

Ensure high level of data-quality

Implement and execute information security standards (e.g. aspects of ISO 2700
Qualifications
-
Successful university degree in (Business) Informatics, Physics, Applied (Business) Mathematics, (Business) Engineering, or a comparable course of study

Excellent knowledge in terms of the architecture, modeling, and backend engineering of reliable and scalable data platforms
-
Excellent knowledge in the areas of SQL and databases
-
Relevant work experience or qualifications with respect to AWS-Cloud-Solutions (e.g. Developer, DevOps-Engineer, Solutions Architect, etc.)

Good knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, Scala, R

Excellent German and good English language skills, coupled with strong communication abilities at all management levels

Good experience in real-time processing of ingest/ETL systems based on technologies such as Kafka, Flink, Spark, AWS (S3, Lambda), or other similar technologies
