As Head of Finance, you take responsibility for building and managing the entire finance function of our company. You work closely with the executive team to develop the financial strategy, support fundraising processes, and ensure that we are set up to operate efficiently while being fully investor-ready.

You combine strategic thinking with strong operational execution skills and play a key role in developing the finance organization from an early-stage setup into a scalable, professional structure.

 

Financial Strategy & Steering

• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy

• Build and further develop financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

• Establish KPI and reporting structures for management and investors

• Oversee cash flow, liquidity planning, and cost management
  
   

Fundraising & Investor Relations

• Support financing rounds and due diligence processes

• Prepare financial models, business cases, and investor materials

• Maintain relationships with investors and financing partners

• Prepare board and investor reports
  
   

Accounting & Compliance

• Take responsibility for accounting, financial statements, and tax processes

• Collaborate with external tax advisors, auditors, and authorities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in a FinTech environment

• Establish internal control and governance structures
  
   

Process Development & Scaling

• Build scalable financial processes and systems

• Implement efficient tools for reporting, controlling, and accounting

• Automate financial and reporting processes

• Support the development of a finance organization
  
   

Business Partnering

• Support Product, Operations, and Sales teams on financial matters

• Conduct profitability analyses for new business models and partnerships

• Support strategic business decisions
  
   

Your Profile

Experience

• Several years of experience in finance within management consulting, investment banking, Big Four firms, startups, FinTechs, or fast-growing technology companies

• Experience building financial structures during growth phases

• Experience with fundraising processes and investor communication

• Experience in financial modeling and corporate planning

• Ideally, experience in a regulated financial environment

• Strong understanding of accounting, controlling, and corporate finance

• Experience in liquidity planning and cash flow management

• Proven ability to build scalable reporting and controlling systems
